Cash just said

It was after his so called nap that he didn't take. I was playing with Cash and as he was playing with lightning mcQueen he sang out in a sing-song voice...." God is so big, so strong, so mighty, there is nothing he can't do!" I repeated him, and then he repeated it again!

Las Vegas

Cash and I were at his friends house. And on our way home he asked, "is daddy home?" I said, "No- remember honey, he left this morning for Las Vegas", and Cash asked, " Is he Lost?" I laughed.

Pictures from the beach

Notice- when we add water- again he just has fun. This time we went to the beach.....

A boy and his dog

Today was the Pet Show at school. I wasn't going to take Samson. He is so big, he gets excited, it is hard to get him in the car, what if there are other dogs and a dog fight breaks out? These are all my fears.
As I was printing photos of Samson, my friend Holly called to see if I was bringing him. Next thing I know, I am loading him up. Cash is asking me are we bringing Samson with a bit of anticipation in his voice. We get to school and it is really pet show time. So I am late as always. Holly is walking out with Rocky (her dog) and says, did you bring him? Hurry up and get him. So I got Samson out we walked into the gym and all the kids ooohhhh and ahhhhed. I walked up to Ms. Alice the director and she was saying a few words. Cash popped up from the sea of kids and came up to stand next to his dog. HE WAS BEAMING. I wish I had my camera. He turned around faced the crowd with the biggest smile. He was hopping up a bit he was so excited. And he was like MOM he is soooooo big!!! I was like yeah Cash you have a really big dog!
Anyway - the whole thing was all but three minutes. Samson sat and shook hands. We said he weighed 170 and that was about it. But teh best thing about it was Cash's excitement and how proud he was to have his Dog there. I am so glad I did it! Now Samson is totally tuckered out and asleep. Snoring...

My boy can keep a secret!

So today- Cash and I went to a store to get daddy a birthday present. I am sure I shouldn't have told him what we were doing at said store, but I wanted full cooperation. We didn't talk much about it. But I did tell him we didn't want to tell daddy so we could surprise him for his birthday. Well we were eating dinner tonight and about the only thing out of Cash's mouth in a matter of fact manner was: "Hey dad, we bought you a present today." He didn't know what he said and pretty much kept watching TV. Until, dad came in the room all excited, oh really? What did you get, what store did you go into? Meanwhile I am saying NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Don't tell him, don't tell him a thing, it's a secret, a surprise!!! Now his parents fueding has got him laughing. He doesn't know who to listen to? Does he tell Daddy? Or does he listen to the voice of reason and keep it a secret? And darn it- daddy- why are you trying to ruin surprises?

I went out to water the plants, and Cash and daddy came outside- Daddy says, guess what Cash said when I asked where you two went today? My heart sinks, OH NOOOOOO - he told him....
But little man has my back and instead said...." DADDY- stop asking me!!!! "
