Cash & Ava

Cash had fun playing with Ava today. She is so cute and an older woman. She is 5 but the two of them played great.

Tonight we were playing in the hotel room and Cash was having a blast jumping on the bed. He held his arms straight out behind him and looked back at his hands and said to me, see my wings, mom?
Oh yes- honey - I do. Then he proceeded to jump with his wings!

presents

So this morning as Shawn and I lay in bed - well before 7:30. Our little Cash was wide awake and playing. He kept bringing us "presents" It started with me. Cash brought me something on my side of the bed. And then pretty soon he was bringing "presents" to daddy on his side of the bed. I maybe got 3 presents but daddy- well he got a plethora of presents. I couldn't resist showing the spread of presents he recieved this morning from Cash. They are exactly how he brought them.

here is the list:
- a lego fire truck
- 2 matchbox lightening mcQueens
- 1 big Shake em Up lightening mcQueen
- 1 R2D2 figurine
-1 Buzz LightYear figurine
-1 Mack trailer (without the Mack semi)
- 2 small planes
- 1 Frank the combine harvester
- 1 Skeeter DVD
- 1 grabber toy

 Not pictured on my side of the bed was
-1 Tai Lung (snow leopard stuffed animal)
-1 mini drum
- a bunch of duplo building blocks stuck together in the form of a tower
- 1 used floss toothpick stick

Daddy definitely made out. However, I was entrusted with the precious Tai Lung

At Cash's party someone took our photo. It is rare to get us all in a photo and even rarer to get us all smiling and looking at the camera.

This is a cute picture of Cash and his two buddies Jaxon and Joshua. They both came to his birthday party and they seemed inseparable. They rode the train together.

mommy's been sick

So I have been sick this week and Cash has been blowing me kisses. It has been sweet.
Today on his way to school he asked me- "mommy- are you still sick?" It was a question he asked with genuine concern.

Just a day shy of turning 3 and I am making dinner, Cash is having so much fun playing with his new toys with daddy that when I put their food out for dinner he says: "that's ok mom, I dont need to eat."

What's up with that? Of course we all sat down to eat. He wasn't the best eater tonight but he ate.
